TB War information

nice snow teamwork is the most important part i dont only do TB in rohan i do Tb for other games also every week, cuz i have my high lvls there, and teamwork is what we all need to learn

I am glad everyone agrees on the need for communication. In reality it doesn't matter if we use Ventrilo, Skype or Xfire to communicate. Just as long as we use something. Typing is too slow and not flexible enough for how fast combat can change. The Ventrilo server I am subscribed to can support up to 10 people online at a time. It can be expanded up to a maximum of 100 I believe with each party having their own room. Skype and Xfire should allow up to 6 people in a session for each party but I don't know how well that works. We'll need to start doing some tests with each program in Coli or while grinding to see how well each works.

As a guild we should probably decide which program we will use or if we will use them all. Personally I like the idea of using one program to make things easier.

I vote Ventrilo... I have seen a TON of people on. probably around 50 or so. with about 6 or 7 people in each room. It never lags or anything. Not for me anyway. But yeah thats my vote.

Ventrilo is like skype and all of that, but it seems to have been geared more toward a large amount of people. Probably for mmo games in general. I've never tried xfire so i know nothing about that.

oh, xfire is kind of like skype but made for fullscreen gaming, you can see the chats while playing the game fullscreen if you wish to and you can mic like in skype dunno about the ammount of people though

i'm fine with either xfire or vent but then vent is troubling when i have to hold a key to talk will kind of throw me off focus when fighting =/

You can set vent to auto talk, though I don't know how. But I've seen, or heard people do it.

vent is better we tryed xfire yesterday and didnt work as well vent works really good :

the voice chat works with vent but i can't hear Chaos properly i'd have to mute Rohan and put my ear near the speaker to hear him. but yeah we can use vent for TB

lolz i will use my "other" voice then hehe or blast the volume up, mute rohan, put the headset to ur ear cuz I'm not speaking any louder lolz unless i put my outbound up

your "other voice" won't come to us as fast as we would need it to be which will totally get you and your party killed and leave a big hole in our defenses/offenses
i will have my headset on and max volume hopefully i could hear you well
one other thing about TB is that my parents might end up barging in telling me to do something for them o.e since it's a saturday they'll want me to do a bunch of chores.
another thing is that they might take me out somewhere during the TB war :<
